The Adirondack Experience wanted to create an inaugural exhibit in their new gallery that displayed a large and comprehensive collection of rustic furniture from the Adirondacks & around the world. We worked with them to design floorplans, platforms, casework, object layouts, graphics, & simple interactives that celebrated this naturally beautiful art form. The overall look and feel of the exhibit was inspired by soft, dappled lighting on a forest floor, and colors were selected to provide a neutral backdrop for the elaborate pieces on display.
