Museum of Science, Boston
Mars Habitat Activity

The Museum of Science in Boston wanted to create an interactive, Mars-themed engineering activity for children ages 9-16. The goal of the activity was to build a Martian habitat that could fold up into a “spaceship” capsule and deploy onto the surface of Mars. As part of a multidisciplinary team, we worked with the museum to develop concepts and conduct extensive prototyping. In addition to developing the activity, we modeled the 3D components and designed the graphic surfaces.
